PVE PVPM2540X – I-V curve tracer for monofacial and bifacial PV generators up to 250 VDC / 40 ADC
The PVPM2540X is a mobile I-V curve tracer for monofacial and bifacial PV modules as well as small strings. Directly on site, it determines key parameters such as I-V curves, peak power, Rs and Rp.
The measurements are carried out in accordance with IEC 60891, IEC 60904-1, IEC TS 60904-1-2 (bifacial modules) and IEC 61829, ensuring international comparability and acceptance reliability.
Especially for high-efficiency individual modules, the device shows its strength: Compared to conventional capacitive loads*, its 16 times higher capacitance ensures the best possible measurement quality.
Measurement data is stored automatically and can be conveniently analyzed, visualized, documented (auto-report), and exported to CSV or Excel using Curvealyzer®.

- The NES SOZ-03 irradiance reference sensor with integrated temperature sensor records irradiance and cell temperature (optionally with two additional irradiance reference sensors for bifacial modules / to determine rear-side irradiance).

- Tolerance of peak power determination: ±5%
- Reproducibility of peak power results: ±2%
- Typical measurement time for a single measurement on individual modules: >100 ms (approx. 100 measurement value pairs), thereby reducing the influence of the capacitive properties of the device under test on the measurement.
- Calibrated irradiance reference sensor (monocrystalline, with certificate) with DS18B20 cell temperature sensor; stainless steel clamp holder for tool-free installation on the module frame, 10 m cable length
- Optional irradiance reference sensors (bifacial) for rear-side irradiance, with stainless steel universal holder, cell temperature sensor, 3 m cable length
- 4-wire measuring cable to the generator avoids systematic voltage measurement errors
- In addition, measurement of the module rear-side temperature is possible using the DS18B20 module temperature sensor supplied as standard.
- Long-term measurements of I-V curves in adjustable time intervals
Connection only permitted to current-limited direct current sources (e.g. photovoltaic generators)!
