The measuring device for professional operators of large solar parks in the megawatt and gigawatt range. The PVPM1500X measures PV modules, strings and arrays up to 1500 volts and 20 ADC.
Caution – the device is NOT designed to measure high-efficiency modules. For high-efficiency modules we recommend the PVE Peak Meter 1540X.
The PVPM1500X is a portable measuring device housed in a robust plastic casing with a built-in battery power supply and an external wide-range charger. It features a high-performance miniature industrial PC and a high-contrast, high-resolution TFT touch graphic display.Using a patented process, the device calculates the peak power, series resistance (Rs), and parallel resistance (Rp) of a photovoltaic system directly on-site from a measured characteristic curve. Data is transferred to a PC via a standard USB interface.The PVPM1500X is operated via an intuitive on-screen menu. Functions are clearly represented with simple icons, and the user is guided through the process at all times. Minimal training is required for operation.

- Other commercially available sensors can be connected via interference-free cable connection
- 4-wire measuring cable to the generator avoids systematic voltage measurement errors
- Additionally, the measurement of the module's rear-side temperature is possible using the standard RTD PT100 module temperature sensor included
- Long-term measurements of I-V curves in adjustable time intervals
Connection only permitted to current-limited direct current sources (e.g. photovoltaic generators)!
